960 Speakers 900

Last night driving home from the office radio fairly loud, driver side rear shelf speaker starts making awful noise. Get home and start investigating, I find that the magnet from the tweeter has fallen off and resting on the woofer. I end up removing rear seat head rests and replacing the speakers. Here is the problem it think the rear speakers have way too much bass as compared with the stock speakers. I think the sound is distorted at unless I turn the bass down. Here is what I have in the car right now, stock Volvo radio sc-810 with factory changer in the trunk. I replaced the rear speakers with Pioneer 6x9s 40 watts RMS, 200 watts max 4 ohms resistance. If anyone has any idea on what I can do to make it sound a like it did when it was stock I would like to hear it. I am not looking to do anything drastic. I am/was satisfied with the stock system.
