Volvo 960 keeps stalling 1995 964 58K mi 900 1995

The car stalls sporadically--sometimes one to two months apart. AFter leaving sit for one minute, car restarts and runs fine. The codes I have received point to the injectors, so I removed them and had them cleaned and tested.

It stalled again so I took it to repair shop. After much testing they decided to change the fuel pressure regulator. Approximately 1 month later, it stalled again. They say codes point to loss of signal between bank 1 and bank2 on the injectors. They want to test more, but they are saying that things are pointing to a bad control box. After the last go around, I'm having a hard time trusting them.

Any Ideas?
