Michael,
The chances are that your work on the radio has caused a wiring problem somewhere. Dismantle whatever did before and check any connectors etc. you may have disturbed. Also what is still working that normally works with the ignition on? if nothing works, check the ignition switch and it`s connections.
If every thing else works you will have to trouble shoot the ignition system.
