no spark 700 1986

It is doubtfull the radio repair had anything to do with your problrm, but possible. The ignition ECU mounts to a bracket near the brake pedal. If you had the under dash panel off and were working in this area, it is possible you disturbed the conector on the ECU. But again, doubtfull. Most common cause of ignition failure is hall sensor or power stage. Power stage attaches to the inner fender just behind the left headlight. It is a small black plastic box attached to a metal heat sink, has 5 or 6 wires. Hall switch is in the dist. Check FAQ and bay 13 for diagnostic aids. Hall switch is installed with rivets, and it is very easy to damage the alluminum distributor body when removing the sensor.
