AC R134 RETROFIT 'what the heck?' 200 1992

I just bought a volvo r134 basic refit kit for my 92 240 and need info on installation. I've read the Dave Urban instructions, but still don't feel confident that I understand the step-by-step for my car. For one thing, how do you get rid of the old oil and add the new ester oil?. Also, I've read about people blowing out their lines if the r12 has already leaked out. That's my case, but do you disconnect the hoses and do individually, or is there a way to do the system intact? From where do you blow the lines and to where? How much pressure for how long? How do you I.D. the compressor? Will I see a tag or I.D. number on it?

If anyone has the time to help me i'd appreciate it. jdl
