240 radiator options 200 1988

My 88 240 runs hot when at idle, AC on, and the outside temp is high.

I have seen "heavy duty" radiators advertised but I'm not sure what to make of them. They are either coopper or brass or something like that. I'm used to aluminum radiators, and I was under the impression that they cooled better.

The most important thing for me is that the radiator have a port for an electronic fan thermo-switch. I'm not much of a fan (no pun intended) of the engine driven cooling fan. I've had much better luck with electric fans so far.

I remembe someone suggesting a radiator from Napa -- does anyone know if this has a port for the electric fan switch?

Thanks

-Steve
