Fix it, sell it, or donate it (long)? 200 1984

Just as the others have said, consider selling to a Volvo nut first. Four of the five Volvo's I've owned were bought running, but still became a project car to different extents right afterwards, so not being fully assembled shouldn't be a deterent.

For what I've seen, donation is the last choice, as in a non-running condition, the only buyers seem to be junkyards who automatically take in whatever vehicle is left at a nominal low price. For the while that the Nationwide auction was running near me, that meant as little as $5 (a Chevette), with most of the "dead" ones going for under $200. After the auctioneers, the towing company, and the documenting fees are taken out, there ain't that much left for the charity itself. Running vehicles commanded much more there, though ... I recall a late-80's Toyota Corolla, complete with external AC(*) went for $1500.
