Ambient temp gauge install 900 1993

I've got the little digital ambient temp gauge kit for the 940, ready to install. Apparently, the car is prewired from the dash to the air dam area. I peeked under the car, just behind the air dam on the driver's side, and I've found a 2-lead snap connector zip-tied with extra wire loom and a blank plugged into it. The wire colors appear to be red/green and yellow/green. Is this the correct connection to plug the temp sender into?
