Mysterious wiring harnesses next to my amp. 700

During my quest to figure out why neither of the speakers on the driver's side of my car work, I took off the panel underneath the steering wheel and found three wiring harnesses that aren't connected to anything. I can't figure out what they are or where they go. Are they supposed to be like that? Here are some pictures.

Man it's hard to get a good picture under there! The largest of the three has 8 connectors and is white. Next there is the yellow one, with 6 connectors, and a small single connection wire.

Does anyone know what these connectors are for?

Thanks for the help.
