84 245 no start 200 1984

I have an 84 245 wagon and it appears as if the fuel injectors are not opening.this is a b23f engine.the fuke pump is pumping,I even jumpered out the fuel pump relay.I disconnected the fuel hose after the fuel pressure regulator and have lots of flow back to tank.The plugs are coming out dry every time I check them.I disconnected the mass airflow valve and still dont get any start .If I pull one of the vacuum hoses off on the intake manifold and squirt in some gas it will try and fire up so i know it is getting some spark.Spark was checked and is good coming off the coil.can some one please tell me if there is no signal from the coil to the computer will this prevent the injectors from opening.Is the compute in the 84 known to give some problems at all and is this one of the problems that you can get.
