vibrations (or truck like ride) is loosening sunroof screws and rear lens assembly bolts. Is the car going to dismantle while driving one day? 200 1991

My '86 245 rode like that when I bought it. New shocks took care of the problem. I went with Boge Automatics which were supposed to be like the original shocks. Some prefer stiffer shocks for handling. The old shocks were so stiff you could hardly move them at all. I might just as well have a solid metal bar in place of the shock. Usually my old shocks lost their damping and made the ride bouncy but these did the opposite.
