Dawes device boost controler. 700

It doesn't matter what the wastegate is set to. You are overriding it with the G-valve, wastegate delay valve, dawes device... whatever you want to call it. When the boost pressure rises to lift the ball off the seat by overcoming the spring pressure, the wastegate will operate and bypass the turbo. The wastegate is not modulated by the rising boost. You will have to preset the pressure using a calibrated boost gauge, a pressure source and the valve. I used some tubing, a bike tire schrader valve, a bike pump and my boost gague. It's a simple adjustment. Don't forget the .020" hole on the wastegate side, it's the pressure relief port for the wastegate. I've got two, one for the 740, one for the V70.
