just noticed this about rear windows on 82 245 200

The rear power windows on my wagon do not go completely down like they do on the front. The rear windows will stop, leaving about 3 1/2 to 4 inches of exposed glass. Is this normal? I just realized this interesting characteristic today when I was testing the window switches and power windows after this passenger slammed both rear doors hard--and I mean HARD! Needless to say, I was pissed! It also made me worry about any metal deformation on or around the door areas and damage to any mechanical parts inside the door due to the violent vibration. By the way, this was not a passenger friend but a minor I was transporting to school, which I do sometimes at work. Grrrrr, I am ticked off! These kids have no consideration. After I told him not to slam the door, he does it again to the other door when he exits just to show he doesn't care about my stuff. Oh, anyway, that's another story.
