Electric Fan? 700 1991

Could someone who has done the Electric Radiator Fan conversion tell me what I need for parts and part numbers if aplicable for me to do this myself? I do not understand how the electric fan will know when to come on. Thank you for all of your information Brickboarders!! This forum is always a great help.
