Climate control unit 700 1991

UMMM, not that the shop is wrong, but does the clutch pull in on the ac compressor at all? If not, try jumping out the connector on the dryer cylinder with a piece of wire. If the compressor kicks in anf runs now, you are low on charge.

I'm sure the shop would have checked to be sure the charge is good, but you never know. If the charge is too low, the contacts on the switch will not make, causing the clutch on your compressor not to engage.
