engine missing durring acceleration 200 1983

Do not take this as gospel, but make sure your AMM from the 86 car is the same part number as the 83 (I think they did change just not sure when). Then you may need the mixture setting on the AMM re-set. You should also check that fuel delivery is OK FPR, TPS, relays, pumps etc and also those vacuum leaks.
