fuel supply issue 700 1986

I have an '86 740 GLE wagon. The second of the 2 coils in the fuel pump relay is not energizing. I have tried a differetn relay and made sure that the battery had a good clean connection. My question is this, when I look at the wiring diagram for this car in a haynes manual they show a fuel cut-off device of some sort, does this exist on my car and if so where is it located? Second question I have is if I choose to replace the ECM does the part number on it have to match exactly? Mine reads BOSCH #0-280-000-544 but I have seen some that claim to be for the same model as BOSCH #0-280-000-541. And what is a fair price for a used ECU?

Thanks in advance for the answers.
