Hi gang,

It has been a while since I have posted anything because
my 84 Volvo DL has been running pretty well.

I changed the timing belt and fuel pressure regulator last
weekend and I notice the car is a little off. It takes
longer to rev up, slightly down on power, etc. I am positive
the cam and crank cogs are on the money. The intermediate shaft
cog was tougher because I could not find the timing mark, so I
marked it's position and took the old belt off.

Question: if the intermediate shaft was off a tooth in either
direction, would that show up in the timing? I checked that
and it is spot on. The engine seems to idle alittle slower,
(slightly below 1000 on the cars tach) and if I rev it quickly
it seems to stumble for a fraction of a second and then take off.

If the timing belt is fine then maybe the fuel pressure regulator
is defective.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on this, I'm stumped.
