Early B230F life expectancy? 200 1985

We often talk about the early ('85-M/Y '88) B230Fs as being somewhat "weaker" than later incarnations of this engine. I have not quite 216K (215,897 to be exact) on my '85 DL, and she doesn't show any signs of slowing down-yet. The engine has never undergone major surgery (head's never even been off) and does not use an appreciable amount of oil (maybe 1/8 quart in 3,000 miles). Compression? No idea, but she still moves quite swiftly when I floor it. Only problem that she has is a case of "piston slap" when cold. This has been going on for about 5 years, or since approx. 150K.

So, how long can I expect this one to last? Has anyone ever seen an early B230F do >300K?

(Since someone is bound to ask...It's had a steady diet of Castrol GTX 10w30 dino juice and Volvo/Mann filters since new.)

Thanks guys. :-)
