Folks
I know this subject has been recently covered but the faq on this does not quite get me through it. Need to remove the radio in order to remove the nonfunctioning climate control unit (and thanks to all for advice on that problem)

Radio has the vertical spaces on each side but fiddling inside them with screwdrivers is not getting the thing loose. Further direction on how those clips release would be much appreciated. And, does the panel around the radio pop off before the radio comes out?

Im close to breaking the plastic so any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.
