CD Changer Installation- won't play 900 1993

Hello
I just installed the Alpine "M-Bus" Cd Changer int omy 1993 945 Trubo with the adapter from Crutchfield to my CR-814 Factory Radio. When I press the CD button on the radio it just says "EEE". I have the adapter (back of radio) connected to the Alpine 5953 controller module then changer connected to that. Changer doesn't seem to be getting any power. I can't eject the cartridge. Any suggestions?? Help me please. Has anyone else done this install????
