Factory radio re-instalation

Do you have both sides of the 9-pin Volvo connector? If not, they are common in a junkyard in post 1983 240's.

On the in-car connector:

1) Fuse #8 (GN)
2) Fuse #1 (SB) - Swedish for Black
3) Power Antenna. (R) with a pigtail
4) Loudspeaker, front left, + (Y-W)
5) Loudspeaker, front right, + (GR-Y)
6) Not connected
7) Loudspeaker, front left, - (W)
8) Loudspeaker, front right, - (GR)
9) Ground connection (SB)

Volvo connects the rear speakers to the head unit using an amplifier. It connects to the head unit with a DIN jack, does your Volvo unit have one?

Good Luck,

Bob
