A/C Fan Relay 200 1991

The Air Conditioner in my wife's '91 240 Wagon has been pretty weak this summer. After reading through some of the posts here on this topic, I went out in the driveway and checked out the A/C system. I found a large electric fan (BOSCH brand) in front of the A/C condenser behind the grille. Apparently this fan never turns on anymore for some reason. I jumpered 12volts directly to the fan, and it started right up. According to my Bentley's, it is controlled by a relay called "A/C Fan Relay", but it does not provide any details, as it is part of the A/C system, and they apparently don't want you to work on the A/C yourself (including the relay, which I can't understand). Does anyone know where this relay is located?
