Dash Warning Lights not coming on before starting engine 200 1981

My dash warning lights are not illuminating like they should with the key turned in the ignition. The lights should all turn on, then turn off once the car starts. Right now, only the oil light is working properly (turns on, then off when the engine starts). This problem is intermitent... Everything seems to work fine when outside temp is not hot.

A few weeks ago I installed a brand new alternator, and put in new wiring for the oil and alternator excitor wire, and the alt ground wire.. so this should not be the problem. The new alt has been working fine so far... it is still putting out 13.8v at the batt.

Is there a fuse for the warning lights? Any ideas? Thanks.
