Seat back adjustment knob removal? 200 1989

Hey there,

Got a beautiful passenger seat out of a wreck. I want to switch the foam out with my driver's seat. How do I remove the seat back adjustment knob so I can get the foam out? I want to do it non-destructivly. I pulled the center cap out, but there's a black metal disk holding the knob on.

Anyone know any tricks?? TIA

Terry

PS: I read in the archives that someone put their seat covers in the washing machine on gentle, I'm going to test this out on the junker, I'll let you know if it works. 14 years of me spilling coffee on my crotch have made a real mess of my seats.
