Transmission 200 1984

84 242 turbo. When I first crank the car, weather hot or cold, when I first put it into drive or reverse, its as if the transmission is slipping. The RPM's go up and the car finally gets going. Once I get going it shifts fine. Example...Backing out of the driveway in the AM, Slow to get going, backup turn left and shift to drive. It immediatly goes into gear, no delay in shifting, but seems to slip a little. In traffic, stopped at a redlight, go to take off, no problem, nail the accelarator, no problem, it even bites in shifting to second gear somtimes(that makes me feel so good!). So what do you think? Is this tranny vacuum actuated in any way?
