'95-97 960's. WILL IT BE AS GREAT AS MY '91 740?

My 1991 740 wagon has been the best car I have owned. It is on it's last legs. I am thinking of buying a '95 to '97 960 wagon to replace my '91 740. I know that the 4 cylinder engine in my 740 is about as reliable as they come. Is the 6 banger in the 960's pretty reliable? Any other thoughs regarding the reliability of this series of volvos? I love the size of my car and hate to give it up. Thanks in advance.
