Tailpipe removal suggestions? 200 1987

I am fixing up the exhaust on my 87 245. I got a new catalytic converter (made by Bosal) and a new tailpipe (made by Starla) from FCPGroton. The cat went on just fine, but I'm having trouble getting the old tailpipe off the rear muffler.

The tailpipe is the S-shaped variety. I can see that it has a lot of rust inside. I have removed the clamp, and have used some WD-40 to unstick it, but to no avail. I have tried simply grabbing and twisting, but still that doesn't free it up. I have tried running the car (to heat up the metal), then doing the WD-40 thing again, and then twisting--still won't budge. The steel is still strong enough that I would have to use about 20 Dremel cutting wheels to get it off.

I'm looking for some sage advice on unsticking the tailpipe. Anyone got some ideas that have been successful? Thanks in advance.
