Turbo replaced; does it need break in? 200 1984

My '84 245 Ti is getting the turbo replaced (w/reconditioned unit) along with the water conversion and various hoses. It will be ready next week. I plan on using Mobil1 Synthetic, and maybe even Amsoil. Is there a break-in period for the turbo? Any other suggestions in helping to make this unit last for 100k? Thanks in advance.
