Ventillation system turns off when the turbo kicks in or hevy acceleration 700 1989

I have 1 760 turbo

I just replaced the wirs ditrib cap, exhaust manifold gasket and intake leaks.

I just noticed now when kicking in the turbo or heavily accelerating, that the ventiallation system whether it be on heat or AC totally cuts out to very low venting. When I remove my foot from the gas its totally back to normal. What are the most likely causes. Its not that bad but I am worried it could lead to even worse problems. when removing the turbo to replace the rubber gasket do you think my mechanic messed something up?
