well, I'd really like to find a decent 740 wagon (745).

And I do not want a turbo engine.

And I do want a 5-speed. (or M46).

Sources say they exist. But I've been looking for quite some time, and haven't even found ONE - not in any condition.

Were they only sold in miniscule numbers in the US?
