940 trans 900

Recently had trans flushed and filled and now when driving the gears seem to hold out a little longer than before. Seems to happen especially with third gear, I read where once the fluid is changed you can expect the gear changes to seem a little harder for a while, but nothing about holding out. The gears are still changing at about the same MPH it just seems like its holding out for a little longer. Also recenlty had tail shfat seal replaced on trans. Any info would be much appreciated. Could it be the kickdown cable? '94 945T
