David is right as rain, but I worry that your knowledge of an a/c system is maybe limited.

The low side literally sucks the Freon out of the evaporator. OK, where's that thing? Look at the hose that runs over the top of the engine. It's coming from the evaporator (inside the cabin) to the back of compressor. The fitting on the front where that hose hooks on is the one to use.

Good Luck with the job. Are you using Freon R12 or a substitute like Freeze12?
