Stumped on probs with 93 240... 200 1993

For almost a year now my 93 has had a poor running problem.. at low engine speeds it sputters and coughs and bogs for a second or 2 before operating normally. Highway cruising is normal, power seems normal once it gets going... its just fast changes in throttle which throws it off. I swapped AMMs to no avail, new cap, wires, rotor, plugs gapped correctly, no vac leaks. Idle is also ok, seems to run a little rough sometimes, but in general its pretty smooth. Also car seems to get worse as it warms up. On cold acceleration it just bogs a bit, after its warm it turns in to a studder. O2 sensor i know needs to be replaced.. but i don't think thats the problem. I am stumped.. coolant temp sensor? I'm not sure what the resistance values are supposed to be at temps.. I am fairly new to volvos, and all i have is a haynes which i found isnt worth wiping my a$$ with.. I've use my saab bentley as more a reference.. so any suggestions? what is the sensor supposed to read, and if its not that sensor what could it be? no CE light is on.
