New AMM, still jerky, '84 245 200 1984

Just got a reconditioned AMM off of eBay. BIG improvment to my problems, but only when the engine is cold.
New parts and adjustments include...New flame trap, cleaned throttle body, new fuel filter, replaced both fuel pumps with new units, new rotor, distrib and coil, spark plugs and wires, new air box thermostat, and above mentioned AMM.
Once engine gets warmed up, the car jerks violently when trying to accelerate, max speed is 40. Does great, when enngine is cold and warmer air is being directed to AMM via exhanust manifold, but when engine heats up, I guess that flap in the air box, closes, letting in cooler air. Where does this cooler air come from? Looks like the front most part of driver-side front fender. Can not see the begining of this air intake...there is a round canister type of thing in the way. Is this a charcoal canister or something.
Anyones ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.
