Min thickness on rear discs?? Difficulty in changing??? 200 1982

My wifes car haas been squeakin lately, it will let out a wretched squeak as soon as you touch the pedal and then its guite and the squeak returns as you roll to a stop.

I checked the fronts, and everything is well within spec there. But I measured the thickness of the rear discs at .309-.311. Haynes calls out .331 min thickness. Can anyone confirm this?? Could this be the cause of the squeaks??

How easy a job is changing the discs. I do all of my own work, so far. with my most complicated jobs being complete front bushing/ ball joint replacement, and timing belt/front seal replacement.

Thanks,

Matt
