Put 940 headrests in my 240... 200 1990

Got a 90 240 dl w/235k on it, nice bue/green car w/tan cloth interior. Spotted nice tan leather headrests on a wrecked 940 wagon in the boneyard and tried them in a 240 in the j-yard and they fit right in the same holes. Brought them home and cleaned them up nice. Put them in my new 240, far more comfy than the 240 hdrst even with the cushions on and they are nicely contoured. Pulled the rear leather hdrsts off my 760 turbo that died and they fit pretty well over the existing 240 rear hdrsts. Now have four nice hdrsts in my car, by the way the 240 was originally purchased at Martins Manhattan Volvo dealership. Has alloys i've never really seen on a 240 before, and i've had about 70 of them. They look like the SE spokes but have a nice 7 inch chrome hubcap with Volvo name on them. If i could get a pic to upload to the site i would show them but can never get a jpeg to load to the BB. All i can figure on these wheels is that they were a NYC type option to look a little fancier for the city. Tom Wasney 240aholic
