Poor A/C Performance 200 1987

Volvo 240 series autos have WEAK air conditioning systems. This issue is a hot topic week during the summer every year.

A few options include:
- Clean your AC and radiator coils, running water from the engine side of the coils to the front.
- Make sure the freon/refrigerant is fully charged.
- Install an auxiliary radiator fan. Late model 240s have a second fan behind the grill, relayed to the AC system.
- Have you thought about a cool window tint?
- Drive only at night . . .

Do a search of previous posts for more suggestions. Have fun!
