Problem with seatbelt warning system 700 1988

Can anybody help with an annoying electrical problem with my 740? The seatbelt "audible" warning device, does not cancel even when the seatbelts are in their respective catches. The red "seatbelt symbol" extinguishes, but the "clicking sound continues!! The relay for this device is shared with the turn indicators, as turning on the L or RH indicators "moderates" the clicking, but the faster clicking returns as soon as the indicators are turned off!! Is there an extra relay that is part of the seatbelt warning system? Thanks in anticipation. R Saunders.
