Park doesn't park! 200 1976

I picked up a 1976 245 DL automatic today for a sweet price. The owner admitted to damaging "park" by accidentally engaging or disengaging it when he was working on something else. When I put the car in park, the car rolls on uneven surfaces. What's wrong and how can I fix it? By the way, the parking brake doesn't work either (I didn't realize this until later and he didn't tell me). Thanks in advance.
