Problem with seatbelt warning system 700 1988

if your talking about that damn dingy thing, my first thing to check would be the dome light, if it shorts out to the top of the car and this happens allot it will never stop digning, pull the light down and make sure, i dont know how the wireing is connected to that light but someone it is and thats what will happen, you also have another option if in the end you cant figure out whats causeing it, reach in to the relay panal and pull the big blue relay all that one does is make the dinigng sound, i have pulled it on all three of mine i hate thoswe dingers in any car and volvo made it easy to fix one relay good bye
