Control arms replacement 900 1998

UPS truck is racing toward my house to deliver a set of new control arms for my '98 S90. They are from FCP and have both front and rear bushings already installed. This should make the installation much easier. I will do the ball joints at the same time.

What is the recommended way to perform the replacement of control arms on this car: (1) with the front of the car on the ramps (front suspension under load) or (2) with the front of the car raised on the jack stands?
