Need Help! '81 240DL 200

It looks like I have a problem similar to yours. I would be interested in knowing where that 3 amp draw is coming from too. The other side of the that, I noticed that when I put a bottle of octane booster in the tank, life was great for the duration of the booster resident in the tank having me believe that the booster is opening up the pump without greater electrical need but that still does not address the issue and bottles of booster is a bit tough to come by regularly. Eventually, this will clog the injectors too.

If you find out what that 3 amp draw is, would you please post it so I can try to get a make of it on the wiring diagram for my Mom's 1982 260?

Thanks in advance.

Charlane
