Metal chips in turbo - methods for removal 700 1987

While recently changing my exhaust system broke a stud off in the exhaust side of the turbo. I removed the entire manifold/turbo assembly and took it to work and drilled out & re-tapped the hole. Despite taking all the precautions to not get metal chips in the impeller cavity... I did. I have already used a shop vac on the exhaust side and compressed air on the inlet side. What else can I do thouroughly clean to protect the impeller et. al

Thanks,

Matt
