Why the fuses are easy to reach 700 1988

As i was driving down the road today, i had to stop at a stop light. As I was sitting in line waiting to turn right, i noticed that my turn signal stop working. I flicked it back and forth and still it did not work. So, after i made my turn i decided to check the fuse. I pulled off the cover and removed #9 and sure enough it was blown. So, i simply pulled one out of my glove compartment and threw it in there. Perfect.

Now i know why Ol'Volvo placed them there. Easy to change while driving down the road.
