Is clutch going? 200 1983

My 83 240 turbo has started to slip every time I accelerate suddenly particular in 2nd and 3rd gears. It shifts through the gears and goes into reverse fine.Just skips under load. I have adjusted the clutch as much as possible. Does this sound like the clutch is going? Car has 170K.
