Shift knob M46 200

I know I know, i shouldnt be doing this, but I figured its worth a try in this forum beacuse of the heavy readership.

IF anyone has an extra shift knob from an M46 including switch in the Vancouver, WA Portland, OR area for free\cheap please let em know. A buddy of mine drove my car last night and pulled off the knob and somehow it became lost out the door or window when we stopped. (likely rolled off the dash out the window). I see a few on ebay which I might go that route, but figured I'd check here first (plus didn't want to wait a long time for shipping). New ones are quite expensive.

Thanks,
