After snooping around, I realized that a wire down there (in front of the oil filter) is not connected. there's a black wire and a red wire.

today i changed out the oil pressure regulator, and i removed the red wire that plugs into that part. then i noticed a black wire hanging there... perhaps it got pulled from its place when i removed the red wire.

now my car doesn't start and i strongly suspect that the black wire helps keep the alternator going. problem is, i am not sure where the disconnected black wire should go.

any tutorial on where these wires go is greatly appreciated,
