965 Aux cooling fan noise - is this type stock or aftermarket? 900 1994

960 never had an aux fan from the factory. Just the electric "puller fan" on the engine side of the radiator. Your pusher fan is definitely aftermarket. While I agree that leaving it in or replacing with a quieter unit is beneficial for best A/C performance, the through the radiator mounting is not a good idea. I would expect a used pusher unit from a 740/940 with steel mountings to the body would be an excellent upgrade, and may simply bolt on.
