Hi all, I am concerned about the lack of power in my 93' 940. I really love everything about the car, except....... I am in danger of getting run over while on the highways. Especially when merging onto highspeed expressway. I assume my 115hp 4cyl. engine was designed to power the 4200 lb. beast, but i tell ya...... unless i absolutely mat the throttle it's tough at times to get er' going. I bought the car about 3 months ago (130,000) churched it up a bit,(rear pinion seal, water pump, timing belt, and tune up) and quite possibly may be the finest car i've ever owned, but i think it is grossly under powered. It hurts to floor the redblock, i feel like i am going to kill it!! Motor taps a bit, but i was advised thats the "Volvo Tap", runs real good tho. I am impressed with the overall quality.
